Operating the tracker
- You receive a fully charged tracker. On a full charge, the GSM tracker operates for approximately 9 days. It can be recharged using a USB-A to USB-C cable.
(USB-C to USB-C does not work) - Important: Do not operate or charge the tracker via USB. The USB connector may be damaged, which could prevent the tracker from functioning properly.
Rider tip: Only use the charging method provided with your rental tracker, and handle the device carefully.
Returning the tracker
- At the end of the ride, return your tracker at the finish (if occupied by organizer stuff, check in the event route book) or send it back by postal service.
- Iberica-Traversa and “Mines & Dunes”: Please ship the tracker end of November that it arrives 1st week of December. Before we can not receive it.
- Once we receive the tracker, the deposit will be refunded to your credit card.
- Deadline: The tracker must be returned no later than 10 days after you finish. (except Iberica-Traversa and (Mines & Dunes”)
Rider tip: Make sure your tracker is returned on time to avoid deposit delays or additional charges.

Declaring the shippment: Please declare the shipment in a way that no import taxes apply and no signature is needed. For example “Tracker, value 20 Euro, gift”. If no one is around to get the shipment, we have to pick it up in 10 days time, what not always is possible.
Mounting Your Tracker
GSM Trackers:
- Can be kept in a pocket, but ensure they can still receive GPX/satellite signals.
Rider tip: Test your tracker in the first few kilometers to make sure it is transmitting correctly before leaving areas with good coverage.
