- June 18th (Alta): Rider registration (16:00-18:00) & briefing (18:00)
- June 19th (Alta): Bus transfer to NorthCape (13:00)
- June 20th: Official start (00:01 CET, NorthCape)
A record 75 riders from 25 countries are already registered – most taking on the full distance to Tarifa.
Can’t make it this year? The next NorthCape–Tarifa start is June 20th, 2028, while the 45-SouthWest (Krakow-Tarifa) returns next year.
“Trail of the Southern Oasis” – new date
Kick off your bikepacking season with an unforgettable journey through the vast beauty of the Sahara Desert. The Trail of the Southern Oasis takes you deep into Morocco’s remote south – across endless horizons, windswept plains, ancient caravan routes, and forgotten railway outposts. Ride rugged gravel pistes or smooth tarmac – the choice is yours. And when the sun sets, the desert sky explodes into a billion stars, and silence takes over.

The first edition has been postponed to 2027 due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Routes: Gravel/piste 1,940km – road 2,060km
- Registration opens: August 1st 2026 – 21:00 CET
- Start: March 20th, 2027 – at sunrise, Nador (Morocco)
- Finish: Sidi Ifni (Morocco)
- Finisher party: April 2nd 2027 – 20:00
